Red Pepper & Chilli Jam

INGREDIENTS

2 red bell peppers
1 fresh red chilli
100g of caster sugar
3 tbsp honey
150ml white wine vinegar or rice wine vinegar
pinch of salt

RECIPE

dice and deseed peppers and chilli
mix the vinegar into a saucepan and bring it to a boil
add in the sugar, salt and honey until the sugar dissolve
add peppers to the vinegar mixture
boil gently for 20-25 minutes or until it looks ‘jammie’
cool the jammie mixture and store it in a mason jar

#P&Y Tips:

add more chilli as you wish, but don’t add in any dry spice as it will change the taste of this tasty jam
taste great on crackers or on top of burgers
